DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
It was Bernadette Lafont, the muse of Godard and Claude Chabrol's New Wave, who convinced Saadi (a french director and screenwriter ) to pursue filmmaking. She starred for him in the film STRIKE, presented at the Cannes Film Festival in the short film category.
She confided in him this phrase, which Saadi still remembers : "You remind me of Godard, because you make your films with your heart."
Saadi has since trained at film schools, EICAR and ESRA. Saadi claims to be a craftsman director. He enjoys comparing cinema to that powerful expression of meaning, that of love that makes you lose your mind. Making a film is the same adrenaline rush as love at first sight.
