Synopsis:
The Southern Gas Corridor, spanning 3500 kilometers from Azerbaijan to southern Italy, represents Europe's largest energy endeavor. Greek farmer Themis, retired teacher Ippazio, and young activist Giacomo feel the pipeline impacts their lives and lands. Together, they unite in a global fight against the project, undeterred by potential consequences, driven by a profound desire to safeguard the environment, democracy, and European values. It is a human portrait of a battle that is still ongoing.
DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1980 in Slovenj Gradec, he is a director and producer of numerous documentaries and award-winning short fiction films. He founded EnaBanda Film Production in 2011 and Rusalka Films in 2016.
He was the initiator of the short film screenwriting workshop Kratka Scena in Ljubljana, which hosts top screenwriting experts from across Europe. He is also one of the founders of the young producers' association Prodorni Producenti, operating under Slovenia's largest producers' association.
He regularly attends various workshops and festivals. As a director, he primarily works on documentary films exploring environmental and social issues. He is also interested in society and its structures.
